For our parents, we waited until the Saturday after finding out on Monday that baby was coming...which was extremely hard to do! I usually call my mom anytime I have any sort of news, and this was the biggest secret I have ever had to keep from her, and for 5 whole days! We pretty much kept our distance from speaking to either of our parents that week, making sure though they would both be at home on Saturday. It was important to us to do something a little extra special for them since this will the first grand-baby for both of them. We made our little surprise packages for them both, and headed to make our rounds!
First stop...my parents, The Franklin's
We had to tell my mom to move a little closer.
She thought whatever in there was going to jump out at her I think. :)
Happy Grandparents to be...in shock!

Happy Grandparents to be!
For my sister and brother-in-law, it killed us not to get to tell them in person, but being that they live three hours away and we couldn't hold it in any longer, we decided to Facetime them to share the news. They had just been on a vacation out West all week, so we told them we wanted to hear all about it. After hearing every detail of their week's trip through the mountains, they were about to hang up when we said, "Wait! We have some news!" That's when I held the sign up that I made for them up to the screen...and waited for a response. Let's just say my sister was definitely in SHOCK! It took her a minute, and then she responded, excited, shocked, excited, shocked. They are now beyond excited to be Aunt and Uncle for the first time!
We wanted to get all of our Grandparents together to tell them at once, but since my Great-Gran was currently in the nursing home, we decided to go deliver the good news to her while my Grandmother was there visiting her as well. She was 102 when we shared the news with her, that she was going to be a Great-Great Gran! We since lost her in January, but having the opportunity to share this news with her and have these photos mean the world to me. Her exact words when my Grandmother leaned over and said, I'm going to be the Great-Grandmother now were, "Yeah, but you'll never be as great as I am." She's amazing, and always had the quickest comebacks to keep us laughing.
This moment was so special for Adam and I to share with them.
Since we had just moved into our new house, we rang up all of our Grandparents and invited them down on Sunday afternoon so we could "show them our house" since we had mostly gotten unpacked and were beginning to get settled in. Little did they know, they were in for much more than just seeing our new home. They were delighted to hear the news that they are all now going to be Great-Grandparents!

It was such a treat for us to get to share this news with them altogether in our home. Our parents were there as well to share in the good news and see their parents' responses.
They are all very excited soon to be Great-Grandparents!!
Adam's brother and future sister-in-law were also a part of this big day! We were so excited to share the news with them! It's going to be a big 2015, as they become husband and wife and uncle and aunt to our newest family member. We can't wait for Haley to officially be a part of our Suttle family!
We feel so fortunate to have such an amazing and supportive family, and we can't wait to have our little one around to add to the family! Everyone is excited to meet you, sweet Baby Suttle!
